Big city lawyer. Small town roots.
Chris Doerfler has lived all over. He grew up in a small town in western GA. He went to college in little Blair NE. He spent a few years in law school at Madison. Then he lived in thriving, five million person Phoenix, AZ for ten years, where he learned litigation from some of the best legal minds in the country at one of the top firms in the state. Now he makes his home in La Crosse, where he’s proud to be raising his young family in the hometown he’s adopted.
In Phoenix, Chris practiced at an 80 lawyer firm. He defended one governor and took on another. He challenged the entire Department of Corrections. He took on a cadre of the best lawyers in Phoenix. He tried dozens of cases. He got a 140+ year sentence overturned. He defended Olympic coaches and Beauty Queens. He fought hard, tough, and smart, fearlessly pursuing justice, fairness and the rights of his clients. Most of all, he enjoyed the ride.
Chris turns over every leaf, researches, investigates, examines every issue. If there’s a way out of this, whether by force or finesse, Chris will find it for you. If you ever find yourself wishing you could drive over to Madison, Milwaukee or the Twin Cities to get a big city lawyer to fight your case, save the gas. Chris is a big city lawyer, but he’s local and you can have him all to yourself.
